Overview

Year 5 is crucial for 11+ entrance exam preparation. Our 11+ preparation tutoring covers the full Year 5 syllabus in a short
time, including NFER, GL Assessment, CSSE, SET, and CEM exam papers.

This tutoring course is designed for children who have missed out on areas in their preparation and want a last minute
catch-up. It is also designed to ensure that the student develops the appropriate exam techniques, such as timing.

11 Plus Maths – Year 5

We revise basic Maths skills appropriate to KS2 and early KS3. We focus on more challenging topics which children find
difficult such as Fractions, Decimals, Ratios, Percentages Money, Time, Imperial and Metric Measurements, Geometry,
Statistics, Shapes, Work Consumption, Cubes and Nets, Area and Volume, Magic Squares, Basic and Advance Algebra.

We also cover core skills such as Numbers, Place Value, methods for Addition, Subtraction, Division, Times Tables and word
problem-solving skills.
